I follow 3 pillars of design in my practice:
Human-Centered Design
A philosophy that empowers an individual or team to designing products, services, systems, and experiences that address the core needs of those who experience a problem.
Accessibility
The IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) credential is IAAP's foundational certification, representing broad, cross-disciplinary conceptual knowledge about 1) disabilities, 2) accessibility and universal design, and 3) accessibility-related standards, laws, and management strategies.
Design Thinking
An iterative process in which we seek to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with our initial level of understanding.
